GeekArtist News: Important News for GeekArtist Clients – Changes
As some of you know (or possibly don’t know!) I am pregnant with twins, due to deliver in October.
No need to worry about your websites; I still have a business to run.
So here’s how this will work for a couple of months after the kids are born.
At some point during or after delivery, you’ll be getting an email with my status.
It may come from my friend and subcontractor, Travis Haapala. He is a highly experienced programmer and has subcontracted for me for several years. So while I’m on leave, many of your requests for website updates will go to travis@geekartist.net. He’ll typically be available evenings and weekends, which is when most updates will occur.
His wife and my good friend, Jessica Haapala, will also be checking the company voicemail and she will be in touch with you if you leave a message. If you need to call, please call 214-731-4733.
While Travis does do basic image manipulation (change size and resolution) if you need custom art done such as logos, buttons, letterhead, etc. that will be passed to me or my husband Jonathan, who is also an experienced graphic designer.
Basically, I won’t be entirely on leave, only mostly on leave. As I said: I still have a business to run.
You can expect services to continue and I’ll step back into work a bit more once I have a better grasp of juggling twins.
